Dr. Marnix Heersink, M.D.
Dr. Marnix Heersink graduated from University of Western Ontario with both a B.A. and an M.D. After multiple fellowships and training programs, he performed complex surgeries like intraocular lens implantations, prior to moving his practice to Dothan.

Dr. Sebastian Heersink, M.D.
Dr. Sebastian Heersink is a corneal specialist with a focus on diagnosis, management, and surgical treatments of cataracts, including complicated cataract procedures, comprehensive ophthalmic care, and other refractive surgery.
My vision as a child was always that I would love to be involved in something that is going to grow, get bigger, get stronger, and get better. So the vision was there and it was formed by lots of experiences during life, of course.
When we came to Dothan the vision for this campus started to form.
Fortunately, we were quite busy from the start so we were always looking to make more things happen and always trying to find more space to make it grow. So as I realized, you know what — to have a campus rather than just a building would be fantastic. Fortunately, that’s actually working out extremely well for us as we now have a wonderful and what I think is a beautiful campus.
It’s welcoming, it’s warm, and allows people to see what we are trying to do here and accomplish.
